"Rainbow Six Siege" "Operation COLLISION POINT" will be released on December 3rd! New Season Reloaded: Anti-cheat, Operator Remake, PC and console cross-play, Siege Cup, and many other major updates.

TODAY, UBISOFT UNVEILED THE FINAL SEASON OF RAINBOW SIX SIEGE 9 YEAR, "OPERATION COLLISION POINT". The Season will culminate in a number of major updates, including player protection and anti-cheat, cross-play on PC and consoles, a remake of Operator BlackBeard, and the launch of the Siege Cup BETA across all platforms.

There will be a number of updates to player protection and anti-cheat features this season, including improved cheat monitoring to ensure fairness. With the advent of cross-play on PC and consoles, the "mousetrap" mechanic will force players who use the mouse to be placed in the matchmaking pool on PC for 90 days. If a player turns off crossplay, they won't be able to join matchmaking until this option is turned back on. In addition, matches detected by cheaters will be automatically canceled without affecting the Ranked Match Rating (MMR). These changes are an enduring commitment to player protection.

Season 4 of Year 9 brings long-awaited PC and console cross-play features to Rainbow Six Siege! Players can now seamlessly team up with friends from other platforms. Console players can choose to join the PC matchmaking pool, and teaming up with 1 PC player will also be automatically added to the PC matchmaking pool. However, PC players will not be able to opt-in to console matchmaking pools. With crossplay enabled, console players will maintain a different PC ranking than their console platform when playing the Ranked Play List.

Operation COLLISION POINT also revealed the newly upgraded Operator BlackBeard and his new gear, the H.U.L.L. Adaptive Shield. BlackBeard's upgraded gear can be used while marching and rappelling, providing cover wherever it goes and its incredible wall-breaking abilities. With a new shield, BlackBeard is able to take on enemies head-to-head, develop new tactics, open up new lines of attack, and maintain protection while charging. The BlackBeard is a 3-armor-1 Speed Operator armed with an MK17 CQB or SR-25 as his primary weapon.

Are you ready to assemble your leaderboard squad for the launch of the all-platform "Siege Cup BETA"?!" The Siege Cup will be open to all players above level 50, and in the game's most competitive playlist, all 5-player squads will compete for "Competitive Coins" in ranked tournaments that compete against each other, unlocking exclusive skin collections every two weeks.

This Season also saw changes to the Bulletproof Shield, as well as balance changes to Offensive Operators Ying and Sens. The amount of ammo required to suppress the Shield Operator has been reduced to increase the value of fire suppression and optimize the Shield Operator's counterattack. This allows the pressing to happen faster and last longer. Operators will not deal melee damage with their shields raised, but their defense-breaking effects will remain the same. In addition, in addition to the updated R.O.U. projector for more flexible and creative use by Operator Sens, the changes to Operator Ying will encourage players to use more sophisticated gameplay.

Other updates this season include additional player protection changes to enhance the Rainbow Six Siege experience. The Fame Center has been completely revamped to provide a clearer overview of how different actions affect a player's status and the threshold for receiving a warning or penalty. Account-related information (such as rankings, reputation, and match replays) will also be integrated into the new Career Center, and stats will be available soon. Finally, players can now show off their achievements in the game. Each time a player completes a new set of challenges, they receive a badge in recognition of their skills and passion, which can be displayed on their Operator Card.
