The early access version of Path of Exile 2 will be launched on December 6. This sequel will use a greatly improved engine, bringing significant improvements in graphics and physics. In addition, it is no longer an expansion of the first generation of Path of Exile, but has independent game balance mechanisms, systems, and future expansion packs. The new story takes place 20 years after Kitava's death, retaining all the seasonal features of the past six years, and introducing new skills, new maps, new enemies, etc.
