The wait is over! Path of Exile 2's early access is finally here. The dead are rising, monsters are mutating, and madness is spreading from a new seed of corruption. Prepare to face terrifying creatures, meet strange characters, forge unexpected alliances, and uncover lost civilizations as you explore the dark forests of Ogham, traverse the desolate plains of the Vastiri Desert, and delve into the jungle ruins of the Vaal city of Utzaal.

Many players have already jumped into the game, but some are encountering an issue where they've purchased early access but Steam says they're ineligible to play. Here's the solution.

This issue arises because the game account isn't linked to your Steam account.  You need to link your account on the official Path of Exile 2 website. However, due to server distance, directly accessing the website might be difficult for some players.

Once your network is optimized, visit the official Path of Exile 2 website. Log in to your account and click on "My Account" below your profile picture in the top right corner.

Click on "My Account" again.

Locate the Path of Exile 2 Beta section and click on it.

Click "CLAIM KEY" to obtain your Steam activation code.

Copy the activation code.

Next, open Steam.  Because the game may be region-locked, you might need to register a Steam account in a different region.  After logging in, click "Add a Game" in the bottom left corner and select "Activate a Product on Steam."

Enter your activation code.  This will add Path of Exile 2 to your library and link your Steam account to your Path of Exile 2 account, granting you access to the beta.
